The mission of the My Brother Charlie Foundation is to encourage and support people in their efforts to successfully reintegrate into society. This is done by developing cooperative living homes. We strive to create a secure and supportive environment that encourages personal development, independence, and community involvement. Our pledge is to treat each resident with compassion, respect, and dignity as they strive for a better future.
We provide an opportunity for socialization and interaction with others. Residents can form friendships, engage in activities together, and support each other through difficult times.
Our Cooperative Living homes are designed to provide a safe and secured environment for individuals and families who are struggling to find a decent and safe housing.
We provide a sense of place and belonging to residents. Developing an understanding of one's abilities and acquiring a positive sense of self and social identity to gain and maintain hope.
Our Cooperative Living homes are designed to foster social connections and community building. We believe that a strong sense of community is essential for creating a supportive and inclusive environment where residents can thrive.
Cooperative living can foster diversity and cultural exchange. People from different backgrounds and cultures can live together and learn from each other, which can help break down stereotypes and prejudices.
